Automatically creating a donation when a membership is purchased
With memboGo, you can automatically transform a portion of the amount paid by members into a donation when they purchase or renew a membership, in addition to issuing them tax receipts.
Configuring the campaignTo collect donations, you must activate the Donations Application and create at least one campaign.
You should also ensure that your emails and receipts are configured properly.
Configuring membershipsDonations can be generated for all memberships or just a few, with the exception of free memberships.
In the membership settings, open the Rate submenu and then select Donations and Tax Receipts.
Check the box Generate a donation automatically, select the campaign in which donations will be created and then choose the donation amount (fixed amount or percentage).
Creating donationsAs soon as the option is activated, all new memberships and renewals will automatically create a donation.
If the option is activated in an existing membership, you can retroactively create donations. Open the member's information and click on Actions/Generate donation in the upper right corner. Note that this button will not be available for memberships where a donation has already been generated
